Weta
The Weta is a light, high-performance trimaran that combines the stability of a multihull with the speed and thrills of a sports boat. Cat 12
Simple, fun and fast. The RS CAT12 brings buoyancy and easy handling back to the beach, bursting onto the scene as the cheerful little sibling of the RS CAT16 and RS CAT14. This pocket rocket keeps many of the dynamic qualities of its big brothers while stripping things back to basics so beginners can start sailing with confidence. The simplified design includes a furling jib, a reefing mainsail and a masthead float, keeping safety to the fore while learning to sail. Forward grab handles and kick-up rudders make launching and returning to the shore as easy as possible, and the whole boat can be lifted easily thanks to RS's patented hull channel. Tough and durable, the hull itself is extremely robust, made from rotomoulded PE1. For added versatility, the bows feature removable, replaceable bumpers – an innovation unique in the CAT range. For comfort, the self-draining decks form concave seats in the hulls. The trampoline and seating area accommodate up to 3 crew. Optional extras include a single trapeze, a great way for newcomers to get comfortable on the wire and push performance at a fun, exciting pace. Ideal for beginners or young families wanting to venture out on the water, the RS CAT 12 completes the versatile RS CAT trilogy of high-performance catamarans.
Cat 14
This boat takes the fun and easy handling associated with beach catamarans to a new level. The stiffness and balance, together with the proven durability of the RS CAT14's construction, make the boat perfect not only for training and recreational sailing but also as a genuine gateway to high performance. It's an exciting boat – and we think you'll agree! The RS CAT system, designed to join the beams to the hulls, gives greater stiffness than other rotomoulded catamarans, with the added advantage that the boat can be quickly dismantled for storage or transport. Durability, comfort and excitement are the hallmarks of every RS CAT.
Cat 16
The brilliant behaviour of this modern beach catamaran gives the feel of a high-performance boat, yet it couldn't be easier to handle. Start with mainsail and jib… Add the gennaker and trapeze to switch on the turbo when you're ready.The RS Cat16 offers the stability and space to enjoy it single-handed or with family and friends.The new beam system joining the hulls has been designed to give the platform far greater stiffness than other polyethylene catamarans, with the added advantage of being quick and easy to dismantle for transport or storage.Durability, comfort and fun are the hallmarks of the RS Cat16.
